THIRD – Follow the rules of great domain names.
If petespants.com isn’t available, I might be tempted to buy ppants.com instead. But that’s a double-letter, and it’s best to stay way from double letters.
Maybe I’ll try petes-pants.com, but hyphens are also something to stay away from.
Both of those options are harder for people to type out, and are harder to communicate when speaking or in a commercial.
You may be tempted to try womensbigpocketpants.com, but that can box you into one variety of clothing if Pete eventually wants to expand the brand. It also is quite long, making it hard to type out or speak in some cases.
You’ll also need to ensure any domain name you choose is actually available like we did in step two, using a registrar like domain.com.
Good luck out there!
